RFL welcome Newcastle Building Society as first Alternative Scheme Participant

Reclaim Fund Ltd today welcomes the first participant of the Alternative Scheme at the Building Societies Annual Conference.

Andrew Hague, Chief Executive of Newcastle Building Society presented a cheque for their initial scheme participation to Adrian Smith, Chief Executive of Reclaim Fund Ltd.

The Alternative Scheme enables building societies and banks with balance sheet values below £7bn to utilise their qualifying dormant accounts to support their favoured local and aligned charities.

The Conference, at the QEII Conference Centre, London is due to run for two days.
